MIA & MMP Registry

The MIA Registry is a list of Agrologists who are registered with MIA. MIA endeavours to maintain an accurate registry in accordance with The Agrologist Act. However, we advise that you contact MIA directly to confirm a member’s status.

The MMP Registry is a list of individuals qualified to prepare third party Manure Management Plans (MMP) in accordance with The Livestock Manure and Mortalities Regulation. MIA administers the public registry under agreement with Manitoba Conservation (now Sustainable Development) that require anyone preparing MMPs on behalf of an operator to be listed on a third party registry, specifically the MIA Manure Management Planners Registry.

Sustainable Development (formerly Manitoba Conservation) requires a mechanism to ensure compliance with section 13 (7) of the Livestock Manure and Mortalities Regulation (MR 42/98). It states a person must complete a course and have current membership with MIA or CCA.  Sustainable Development uses the MIA registry as the mechanism to verify the requirements of section 13(7) have been met, as MIA's listing procedure ensures persons listed on the registry have met the requirements.
