This is just a reminder that the Manitoba GIS Users Group (MGUG) 2012 Winter Workshop will be held on February 10th (12:15 pm to 4:30 pm) at the University of Winnipeg (Wesley Hall – Convocation Hall), 515 Portage Avenue.

Workshop registration has now yielded over 150 registrants!

The workshop, refreshments, snacks and Membership is FREE but limited to 200 participants on a first-register, first-serve basis.

*In order to register for the MGUG 2012 Winter Workshop, you must create an account with the Manitoba GIS User Group or login if you already have an account to access the workshop registration form.

Our half day agenda has many interesting speakers you won't want to miss.  Some final details for the event are included with this message.

We will be accommodating some very special guests and presentations such as James Platt of Manitoba Local Government, Ariel Lupu of Hatch Ltd. and Kevin Aide of Intergraph Canada Ltd., in particular Dr. Ed Cloutis from the University of Winnipeg will be providing a keynote address and present on “Mapping Mars: Using GIS to find a Suitable Mars Rover Landing Location”.  An updated agenda has been included for your review.  For more information please visit the MGUG website: http://www.mgug.ca/
